on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at his residence in Harvey, LA. Mr. Vaz is
the beloved husband of Mrs. Yvonne G. Vaz by second marriage and the late Mrs.
Dolores Claire Doiseau Vaz by first marriage. Father of Suzanne Remus, Louis R.
Vaz, Jr., Elizabeth Vaz Saucier and David C. Vaz. Stepfather of Kenneth P.
Glynn. Son of the late Marguerite Robison Vaz and Theodore Vaz, Sr. Grandfather
of Ian Scott Harbin, Catherine Dolores Vaz and Collin Louis Vaz.
Step-grandfather of Jason Mendel, Erin Grace Glynn, Brittnay M. Glynn, Brandi N.
Glynn and Rachel Y. Glynn. Step-great grandfather of Hunter Mendel. Brother of
Dorothy Vaz Holmes, Althea Vaz Boyd and the late Theodore Vaz, Jr. and Eugene
Vaz. Mr. Vaz was a retired Route Supervisor for Borden Dairy Inc. He served his
country in the United States Army during World War II (with the Bushmasters)
where he received two Purple Hearts. |
