Malcolm Wharton

Malcolm H. (Mal) Wharton Passed away on September 30, 2006. Mal was a native Tucsonian. He was preceded in death by his wife Pat Wharton and daughter Julie. He leaves behind his son Craig and wife Cathy; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Mal retired from Hughes Aircraft with over 35 years of service, in addition to his career in the Army National Guard. He served with the Bushmasters during WW2.  He enjoyed participating in the Rocky Mountain Oysters and Tucson Trap and Skeet Club. Mal was also a dedicated volunteer with the 4-H Club. Mal will be missed by many friends and relatives who remember him for his willingness to help others and his participation in numerous adventures with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NRA or local 4-H Club. Memorial Service 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the Wharton Residence.
